The studio of Mirjam Butz-Brown brings to you excellence in European craftsmanship and style.
Mirjam acquired her skills in her native Germany, where she learned the art and techniques of jewelry smithing at the Goldschmiede Schule in Pforzheim. Her extensive training included a two year apprenticeship in a master workshop.
Mirjam, the artist, has focused on integrating free flowing, feminine lines into unique pieces created with a quiet, yet outstanding beauty, combined with the harmony of true quality workmanship.
Mirjam, the designer, realizes that each of her clients has an individual taste in jewelry. It is in this knowledge the true artist emerges, allowing Mirjam the freedom to please each client with her variety of design and simplistic, European flair.
Mirjam, the jeweler, has always had a passion for gemstones and jewelry making. Working primarily with platinum and 18k Gold, her passion translates into stunning jewelry that has received numerous Awards; Platinum Guild International, AGTA Spectrum Awards and the Women's Jewelry Association DIVA Awards, to mention a few. Mirjam captures the essence of natural beauty and interprets it into jewelry design.

Mirjam and husband, David, have been in business in the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego since 1991. Their studio is the home of numerous one-of-a-kind designs as well as their own unique line sold in Europe and the United States.
